Children in Tanzania often need extra support as they are from more vulnerable backgrounds. The schools, day care centers, and orphanages often do not have enough resources or funds as they are often underfunded and lack resources and funding. As such, the Childcare program proves as a great way to provide love, care, and support to the children and to enhance the center.

Oftentimes, Childcare consists of providing basic education, playing games, teaching the essentials of healthy living, working alongside supervisors to improve or run the centre. Volunteers may also assist in basic tasks such as cleaning, simple renovation, and cooking.

Volunteers are also welcome to help contribute to improving the centre’s daily operations – a reliable, fixed structure also contributes to the children’s wellbeing. This could range from implementing class schedules, creating class decorations for educational purposes, or even enhancing the centre’s administrative departments.
